64controll is a producer duo formed in 2017 by Tokyo-based zene (@zenemos ) and Osaka-based U-koh (@u_koh64 ). Rooted in Juke and Footwork, they’ve released a steady stream of forward-thinking tracks while performing actively across clubs in Japan. Their collaborative project “64DX” with pop duo DaXx has also earned strong acclaim for its experimental and boundary-pushing style. After making their TREKKIE TRAX debut with the “Bunbun Chopper EP” in April 2025, which quickly gained traction thanks to heavy support from many DJs, the duo now returns with their new project, the “Dic EP.” The release continues the sonic direction of their previous work, while showcasing a sharper, more polished evolution of their musical identity. Drawing on influences such as Chicago house and tech house, the EP blends precision, humor, and rhythmic intuition into a sound unmistakably their own. Featuring the tight, hip-house leaning title track “Dic,” the lively tech-house cut “Drop It,” and a high-impact HARD MIX by UK producer DJ ADHD (@djadhd.mp3 ), the EP captures 64controll’s deep understanding of club energy and their playful approach to vocal manipulation.
