Re-designing the music and sound to this scene from the film “Oblivion”. Used AI to isolate dialogue from the original soundtrack. Music created using synths and vst’s. Sound design and foley created using zoom H6 and various plugins including serum and GLITCHMACHINES.
I find that ambient, textural pieces are some of my favorite to compose. There are intricate harmonics that result from the slight randomness that allows the music to feel continuous without feeling repetitive.
Then by adding other sounds at slightly fixed intervals helps to ground it, giving some sort of resolution to something that seems to have no end.
