Today marks another year since my father, Bill Howl-N-Madd Perry, left this world, and not a day goes by that I don’t carry him with me.
I miss his voice, his laughter, his stories, his wisdom, and the way music seemed to pour out of him so naturally. Some of my greatest memories in life were standing beside him, learning from him, and sharing music together.
My father gave me more than songs — he gave me a love for music, strength during hard times, and memories that will stay with me forever. Even now, I still feel his presence every time I step on a stage or hear certain notes ring out.
There will never be another Bill Howl-N-Madd Perry, and I will always be proud and grateful to call him my father.
