💨 ✨🎧 Here’s a bit of background on how I’ve painted using my synaesthesia over the years ( a lot pre in*ta days! )…from voice portraits to famous sitters and TV appearances 🤩
I also wanted to share it all for those of you thinking about coming to my synaesthesia and art workshop weekends which have just opened for booking!

🗒️💗 In the lead up to my exhibition #lostpropertytheexhibition with @alicemaraceramics at @theregencytownhouse Sept 23rd - 28th, I popped to Brighton for a bit of flyering on some telephone kiosks…I loved how the #kx100telephonekiosk s are being sort of embraced by the nature of the city; covered in flyers about all sorts of things going on…the red #k6telephonebox es felt a lot sadder and much more eerie and empty…the ‘shunya’ sticker on one of them couldn’t have felt more appropriate…
* In English, the Sanskrit word śūnya (also spelled shunya or sunya) means zero, empty, void, or nothingness. It represents the absence of substance, independence, or self, and is a fundamental concept in Indian philosophical traditions, especially Buddhism (as śūnyatā) and Hinduism*
Another Synaesthesia image question for you!
Does this composition and accompanying music reflect the TASTE of…
A) Salt & Vinegar
B) An Iced Bun
C) Milk Chocolate
✨ I absolutely LOVED how so many of you responded to my #synaesthesia question on my last post!! There’s never a right or wrong answer but I’m always really fascinated by a majority answer, and also how SOO many people really do connect to their senses in ways far wider than the simple action of eating, listening or smelling…we are all much more creative than we think! #synesthesia #tasteportrait #5ftinftable #sensoryprocessing
A question below for all of you who think you don’t have synaesthesia 😉 ( although not excluding fellow synaesthetes obviously ! )

There’s also another synaesthesia tripe quiz in my stories 🔻
