Whirlwind doesn’t begin to describe the journey we have had these past few months… . . @thewholepacktheatre creation was sparked during our founding members’ 2024 Summer Tour with the wonderfully supportive and creative company, @britishtouringshakespeare 🎭. . . @jessamycorobcook @meganelainecarter @theadventures_of_sheldon and myself met and were inspired to create a space solely for women to explore Shakespeare’s roles outside of the traditional casting constraints. . . We enlisted the help of the fabulous @lucyellecliffe3 🎭 and @iamamandabeauchamp 👗along with the photography expertise of @speckledhoundphoto 📷 ensuring our cast and crew was composed of professional female talent. We also had the generous support of @5astudios and the company CEO @aragon694 (who has been smashing glass ceilings since before 2004) in providing us a rehearsal space for the majority of our rehearsals. . . We knew we were creating something special from the moment we said go; but what you can never predict is the magic in the rehearsal room… I’ll let you judge for yourself with these cast taken photos; personally, I have not laughed this hard nor felt this comfortable accessing joy everyday in a long time. It’s not easy by any means but fulfilling doesn’t come close to describing this kind of work… there is not a strong enough word in our language for it. . . My cup is overflowing for the first time in a long while and I know it’s down to working with these incredible women. . .
