@paintkult @revoltautopaint was a great time, I picked up a airbrush and tape 3 months ago and been messing around on days off, when I saw the class posted I had to sign up, knowing @gooch_customs and @sic713 was there who I’ve been a follower of since 2014 or in @sic713 words a OG lol, having @gooch_customs tell me to grow a pair and make the flames weave in and out or be a P***y, so I stepped up and knocked them out, @illests_customs showing me how to get the fades right was killer, and then meeting @warrior_welding_tx @warhead_graphix and showing me how to fix my accident to a happy mistake offering his knowledge like I’ve known him for years was killer, and to talk flakes with @chynapaints on my next project was bad ass, and meeting @rudepaint and his opinion on my board made this 42yr old oilfield guy feel like I made the right decision to go to this class and learn from these guys, I felt like a kid in school asking all the instructors 100s of questions and putting it in my notes, I will definitely be at the next one as I keep learning and trying to get better and roll with the big dogs some day, I truly appreciate all the help and guidance and confidence you guys gave me 🤘🏼⚡️🤘🏼 @fortneycustompaint where I’ll post my painting projects

We just getting started and it’s all his hard work and dedication, determination, and love for the game, No days off consistently training to be better then yesterday, This kid is chasing his dream and I’ll do everything to help him get that chance to make it happen, Finished top 5 out of 200 players and one of 15 sophomores, No one caught a ball on him, Including the interceptions he had, He never had a dropped ball at this event with 10 D1/D2 college recruits, As well as finished 2nd in the state in 6A for interceptions and yards carried after, As a Sophomore!!! While maintaining a 4.12 GPA!! Proud Dad over here and excited for this offseason and camps he’s going to and to see what the future has planned with this guy!!

Finally got my Werk truck all dialed in, Big thanks to Romeo Gurule, Bryant Banry and Scott Hatch for getting this one owner 07 F250 Harley Edition looking right, running right, and sitting right on that reverse level, I love this truck more than my ‘23 F250, just a clean old truck that’s not gottie looking or too over done, time to tear it up on the lease roads to locations lol #oldmantruck

Back out of her corner of the garage and ready to party, Started building this truck in ‘17 and after getting frame rolling on the @choppin_block suspension and motor built sent her down to Az for Seth and his killer crew @switchsuspension and @arizona_high_test to make everything nice and custom to tuck the one off set of 24x10 & 24x15 @specialtyforgedwheels , then had @dbomb_53 knock out the interior of it in his style, then @radfabaz cleaned up the bed and fender mounts, and then she’s sat since 2020 in the garage due to unhealthy tune due to tranny issues and a few motor mods needed, I lost interest in it, well last month something hit me and decided to finish it, brought it up @altitudespeedandfab to get it running and tuned with the new parts it needed, now she’s 100% ready to burn it down for a few months while I find someone ready to paint it like Picasso and finally show it like it deserves to be…. This headache of a truck has had me in a choke hold for 4yrs, after sending @hayleefortney to go pick it up for me in Phx while I was working in Denver, because I wanted a truck like @tanner_crupper lol, she ended up cooking the stock 4L60E, so I called upon my local guru (before he moved to Phx 😡) @jerimiahgranito to do a 4L80E swap and bigger stall converter, I used it as my daily for about a year, Met @turbo_zach and bought this motor from him, then I found @deanracing955 and started buying parts from him to turn my truck into a little street truck, I had a local shop “try” and do the motor swap even though they both were 5.3s they didn’t feel confident enough with a turbo motor, and with everything in my town, no one wants to work on custom stuff, so I hauled it to @vikingfabrications505 in Albuquerque and let him go to town on it, once he finished it went to another shop in Albq where it sat for 8mo “waiting” outside while I had all the parts to finish it, so I decided to go pick it up and bring it to Denver where a local LS guru was going to get it knocked out for me in no time… well he charged me 10hrs to go through part box’s and never did anything to the truck, then I decided to reach back out to @turbozach and see if he wanted a side project well he opened up his own shop @altitudespeedandfab and was eager to get the truck, called a tow truck and off she went to round 4 shop, once all together we hauled it to the dyno, I definitely wasn’t impressed with the tuning skills as the truck only put down 4XX on a fully built motor… and had 3 injectors stick open and flood the motor, so time to rebuild again!! After talking with @masters824 and who he used for tuning we went with @dinosaurjuicetuning and mannn what a difference in a tuner!!! Truck is 10x faster then we had anticipated on pump gas, don’t always go to the shops with the high IG followers cause those shops just want your money, go to the blue collar guys that love to go fast and build cool shit!!! I can’t think everyone enough from all the DMs to txt to calls about this damn truck, but she’s done and ready to get abused…. Finally!

Took my best friend on a quick trip to watch the Phillys pit a hurting on the Rockies, his 1st time at a MLB game, then wanted to make the rounds on some scooters, crazy how fast this kid is grown up and fun it is to just let him decide what we did and food we ate, definitely can’t wait to do it again, all the long days away from him and hard work to give him the life I always wanted and be able to watch him on that field someday soon

Next time you say "damn, must be nice" you might want to understand the lifestyle that has made it appealing to you! 8-5 didn't make it. Parking our ass on the couch to watch TV every night didnt make it. Sleeping in on Saturdays didnt make it. Calling in when sick didnt make it. Being content with where we're at didnt make it. It came from some 15-20 hour days. It came from beating the sun up. It came from working on weekends. It came from sacrificing family time. It came from wanting a little better tommorow at the expense of today. These are a few things to consider before you throw out "damn, must be nice" at someone! We are all products of our competence. And extra efforts are what make the biggest differences at the end of the day!!!

Might be for sale… lost interest and don’t have time to finish the last few parts, needs A/C installed, power windows wired up, and bigger torque converter installed, and tail lights decide when they want to work for whatever reason, I have all the parts but the paint… I’m not hurting for money but the truck deserves to be finished and enjoyed instead of just wasting away in my shop
