Happy Friday! Next up, please say hi to the XO of Black Tower Squad, Rachel a.k.a. DZ-25045! 1. Why did you join the 501st Legion? I joined after being introduced to the 501st through my partner. I got to see all the cool troops he did and the joy that members from Black Tower Squad bought to people and I immediately waned to get involved. I’ve always loved cosplay, and I wanted to be a part of something bigger. 501st mission of “Bad guys doing good” resonated with me! 2. Favourite Star Wars project? Unpopular opinion but it’s actually the Mandalorian. While I love the OG trilogy and the dialogue and the epic soundtrack, the mandolorian has bought a fresh audience and I love the cinematography in it. It’s a personal favourite of mine. 3. A Star Wars bucket list moment? Trooping the Star Wars episode IV Sydney symphony orchestra event and going backstage at the Opera house was so unreal. And then getting to watch the production was absolutely magical. A love of Star Wars, the expressions of joy and excitement on kids (young/old) faces when they see troopers, and doing my part in helping bring awareness and visibility to various charities. 2. I have had many great moments with the Legion over the years. I have met George, travelled to 7 Celebrations in 3 countries, made Star Wars friends all over the world.
