Powerful spoken word and mesmerising dance performances will open the day! Lucky Asare, an actor and poet from Kennington, blends stage and screen experience with a passion for storytelling. Trained at the University of East London, he explores themes of identity, dreams, and culture through emotionally charged poetry. Performing alongside NEON students, his words will move audiences long after the final line.

Albert Okine, known as Solostar, is a dynamic acrobat and circus entertainer from Ghana. His acts feature flips, glass balancing, fire-eating, fire-breathing, and his signature bowl-spinning. He opens on stage and will also deliver interactive performances and workshops in the market area throughout the day.

Gothic Jazz artist Gina Lobo delivers haunting yet heartfelt songs that explore powerful themes like grief, death, womanhood, and sexuality — all with a playful, camp and honest touch. Performing pieces from her debut album Salome, Gina draws inspiration from the iconic and controversial biblical figure, weaving her own stories into music that’s bold, thought-provoking, and unforgettable.
