My third album as my lofi alter ego Third And Forever is dropping soon.
Check it out on Spotify. These chill study beats are performing better than anything else I have released.
Hope to drop a couple more albums this year.

SAMPLE FLIP FRIDAY #12
Not gonna lie, had some beat block and finished this like an hour ago…
But I haven’t really done one of these yet. Heavy on the side chain soul chops.
Who is your favorite artist still spitting on these type of beats? Tag em below.

SAMPLE FLIP FRIDAY 146
I’ve been so close to just letting loops play for one of these weeks. This is maybe as close as we will get.
Cut up a bunch of my favorite segments, rearranged, added a drum break. Used the bass filter trick to just use the bass in the sample.
I let the first 16 bars rock out. I’d love to hear some raps on this one! Let’s hear the remixes.
Last October I got a chance to spend a weekend in Fort Collins working on music and learning from @lazerbeak
One of our assignments was remixing one of two amazing songs from @iamladymidnight
Last week the team released those remixes on Bandcamp.
Once I started chopping up her song Stormborn I had this vibe and started digging from acapellas to add. This Nipsey track just fit so perfect.
When she sang "You remind a love that I once knew, he left to soon" I just got chills with how it played with Nipseys verse and I knew it was a perfect fit.
Enjoy a snippet, and go give her a follow and check out her bandcamp to get the rest of the remixes!
SAMPLE FLIP FRIDAY 145
Back from the break and had to get some bars on this one. Been talking about it for weeks and finally powered thru. Even with the new jobs I carved out some time to pen a quick verse for this one.
If you don’t know about Michael Franks I suggest you brush up. Maybe it’s just cuz I was raised on his music and I own 8 of his albums but he really is one of my favorites not just to sample but to listen to.
Who wants to hop on verse 2? Tag a rapper in the comments. 👇🏻
I thought I had a few more months… I didn’t.
9 months after getting laid off, I finally hit something that works:
→ consistent income
→ ~25 hrs/week
→ still room to build my own thing
The shift was simple:
stop chasing random gigs… start building recurring work.
Right now it’s a mix of contract roles, not a fully scaled business yet—
but it’s exactly what I needed.
Appreciate everyone who’s been following this journey 🙏
More updates soon.

SAMPLE FLIP FRIDAY 144
Pulled this sample from my stash of tracks that I ripped years ago. And I either flipped it and never finished it, or pulled it pre this challenge and never went back to it.
I love these classic soul chops where a little bit of the vocals creep in and get cut off. This one had some pretty cool drums in the sample as well so I built my drums around it and left a little more space. Loving the bounce on this one.
Let me know what you think!
SAMPLE FLIP FRIDAY 142
Not gonna lie. I’m exhausted from broadcast set up yesterday. Headed back in a few hours for the soccer game so I had to knock this out quick this morning.
Started one with no drums and some loops. And figured I’d cut it up a little more and add some drums.
Add in the special filtered bass trick to speed up the work flow and knock this weeks video out.
It’s been a couple weeks since I posted one of these… and that’s actually a good sign.
Last time I disappeared, I felt stuck.
This time it’s the opposite — I’ve been slammed with real work.
Music project that’s pushing me to learn new skills.
Finished a 10-track sync album.
Back with Sounds True.
Creative bootcamp.
TV this week for USA vs Japan.
And yeah… social media and even music took a backseat for a minute.
But I keep thinking about this idea:
Not everything is glass. Some things are plastic.
Some stuff you have to keep in the air.
Some stuff you can set down for a bit.
Right now I’m focused on deadlines, contracts, and the projects actually moving things forward.
And it’s starting to work…
I set a monthly income goal and I’m really close to locking that in.
Got a record label interview next week too 🤞
Curious—what’s “glass” for you right now?
