Stella (Sonnensterne) has been her usual magnificent self, taking everything in her stride. She has been brave, calm and completely trusting of Shae and me. She really is such a special mare, and she handled her first big long trip like an absolute pro. On her first night at Boneo Park, she was the only horse here, but she didn’t mind one bit — as long as she had us, food and her tub of liquorice allsorts 💕

@shaeherwig … she has taken on so much more than just being Stella’s groom this week. She is also helping care for me, and I honestly cannot put into words how grateful I am. It has been two years since we last did a big event like this together, and a lot has changed health-wise since then. It may sound cliché, but I truly would not be able to do this without her.
A huge thank you also to my team at home, who have played such a big part in getting me here — Michael, my parents, my physio and friend Sal, my doctor and my surgeons. I’m so grateful for the support and belief ❤️
