What can I say, there are no words for this feeling. What started as a personal mission to make clothes that truly reflect who I am has led to my brand’s first official collaboration with Baruch College Thank you to Baruch USG for not only giving me the opportunity but for giving me full creative control. Y’all believed in me just as much as I believed in myself, and that’s all I could ever ask for. This wasn’t just merch, this was storytelling, community, and identity stitched into every thread I made the entire collection in just 2 days. People ask how I do it… truthfully, I stay disciplined and stay close to God. Tomorrow, the sweaters will be given out to students for free at the USG merch pop-up. And this is just the beginning. To do this during the week of the Met Gala and the Superfine Tailoring Black Style exhibition opening, where Black fashion is finally being centered and celebrated, feels divine.
