Yesterday was one of the most beautiful nights in the history of this band.
Never in a million years could we have imagined bringing so many people together to celebrate our new album, let alone to feel such a strong connection in the room from the first ‘til the very last second of the set.
For the first time playing a show felt like fighting for ourselves instead of fighting ourselves.
And it felt beyond amazing.
We love you all so much.
When both of us were just kids we shared one dream.
And now we know that dream is you.

Alles wat we maken krijgt vanaf zijn ontstaan een definitieve naam, zo kreeg ook deze plaat een titel die op het eerste zicht vier vrij doorsnee woorden voor me waren. Maanden later begin ik hun ware betekenis pas echt in te zien. Ik zou er eindeloos over kunnen praten en doe dat graag in real life met wie daar nood en/of zin in heeft. Voel je gerust welkom.
Ik deel op deze speciale dag graag iets met jullie; maar zie het voornamelijk als reminder aan mezelf: “er is een groot verschil tussen verstaan met je oren en hoofd en begrijpen met je hart”. Ik leer stilaan begrijpen met mijn hart, word milder met mezelf maar vooral beter voor mezelf. Het is in mijn ogen niet correct om dit proces als eindeloze weg te bestempelen, ik geef het liever de naam transformatie.

Everything we create is given a definitive name from its inception; similarly, this record received a title that, at first glance, seemed like four fairly ordinary words to me. Months later, I am only just beginning to truly see their true meaning. I could talk about it endlessly and would gladly do so in real life with anyone who feels the need and/or inclination. Please feel welcome.
On this special day, I would like to share something with you; but I see it primarily as a reminder to myself: “there is a big difference between understanding with your ears and head and understanding with your heart.” I am gradually learning to understand with my heart, becoming gentler with myself, but above all, better to myself. In my view, it is not correct to label this process as an endless road; I prefer to call it transformation.
