a powerful pendant for a very strong wahine
@danielle_sea01 had an emergency brain surgery back in May. She kept the staples from her craniotomy — the metal that once held her skull together while she healed and had @danielleburnsideart set them in resin inside of a pencil urchin skeleton.
I then crafted a border of silver spikes and turned it into a pendant that Danielle can wear proudly to represent her incredible story.
A relic of survival.
Proof that even the hardest chapters can become something beautiful.
Some jewelry tells a story, this one carries it.
