Here’s some cheat sheets to show where you should be sitting to be within 5% of your weigh class in the IPF.
We should aim to lose no more than 5% of our bodyweight through acute body mass manipulation with a 2 hour weigh-in, in order to reduce the impact of cutting on our performance.
That’s not to say, however, you must sit above your weight class, or that cutting from within 5% won’t affect your performance.
It’s important to trial certain strategies and see what works best for you.

Deadlift 127.5/135/142.5 (+2.5!!!!!!!! FINALLY) two years chasing a deadlift pb and for the first time since powerlifting I can say there was more there. WHAT.
