I finally built myself a “big” bike! I bought this (small) frame off of @kell_g_ on New Year’s Eve and then spend the last few months gathering all the parts to build it exactly how I want it.
A huge thanks to @thehankvo and @bikefixutah for helping me get this thing dialed in!
It’s setup 170 x 170 - such a capable bike pointed downhill and honestly pedals way better than I expected after riding strictly 29er trail bikes under 140 for the past 7 years. This thing is a riot on trails like Grafton and Monkey, I can worry less about line choice and really mash the downhills now.
I still have my Smuggler for trail riding, but loving everything about the Patrol. Very excited to put it to the test in Whistler this year! 🤘🏻
