Our new 42 Germany video brings together voices from @42berlin_ , @42heilbronn and @42wolfsburg , reflecting on the moments that made them rethink their direction, step away from the expected route, and choose a different way into tech.
All three campuses share the same 42 learning model: peer-to-peer, project-based, and gamified. The core method stays the same, but each campus brings its own local ecosystem and community dynamic, which gives the experience a different character in practice.

Stuck on a cold platform with no info? 🚆 Mich & Danylo have the solution.
We’ve all been there: The app says "on time," but the tracks are empty. This "information black hole" is exactly what Mich and Danylo (students here at 42 Wolfsburg) set out to fix with their project: TrainPulse.
đź’ˇ The Concept: Why wait for official updates when the people already on the platform have the answer? TrainPulse is a crowdsourced reporting system where passengers validate delays, cancellations, and platform changes in real-time.
🛠️ The Build:
The MVP: Built with Next.js for a lightning-fast user experience.
The Scale: A FastAPI backend designed for enterprise-level performance.
The Logic: To keep data accurate, they implemented auto-moderation and a reputation system. No spam, just the ground truth.

The DNA of TrainPulse is pure 42!
Just as we use Peer-to-Peer evaluation to validate code in the cluster, TrainPulse uses passengers to validate travel data. It’s distributed intelligence at its best.

We spent the end of last week at the @trafohub in Braunschweig for the HealthHack 2026 by the @metropolregion.de .
Thirteen of our students joined the 48-hour sprint, working in three separate teams to build prototypes for the healthcare sector. The challenges were based on real use cases, ranging from AI-assisted document verification for international doctors to visual platforms for personalized care planning and local movement finders.
The energy at the hackathon is always unique—lots of snacks, very little sleep, and a massive amount of progress in a very short amount of time. By the final presentations on Friday, the teams delivered functional tools that were technically impressive and well-designed.
A special thanks to our alumnus Tobias Riedel from Teqyard for joining as a mentor and supporting the next generation of coders.
Even though we didn't take home a trophy this year, the results were impressive. It was a great display of what happens when you combine grit with the right technical foundation.

One week, zero teachers, and a whole lot of Python.
We just wrapped up our latest Discovery Piscine here at 42 Wolfsburg, and it was about so much more than just writing code in Python. For seven days, a group of curious minds jumped into the deep end to see if our peer-learning model is the right fit for them.
Here is what the week looked like off-screen:
We kicked things off on Monday with a round of Human Bingo to break the ice. Tuesday was all about fueling up with a massive breakfast—nothing beats coffee and fresh croissants to get the brains running.
By Wednesday, we settled into the cluster for some relaxed "Chit Chat" sessions, followed by a Lunch & Quiz on Thursday to test those new Python skills. One of the highlights was Saturday’s Open Day, where we welcomed friends and family to campus to show them what we’re all about. We officially wrapped the Python Discovery Piscine on Sunday with a closing ceremony and the certificate handover.
It was truly great to see both familiar faces and so many new ones. To be honest, we are always amazed at what such a motivated group can achieve in just a single week—we definitely learned a lot alongside you.
You can be incredibly proud of yourselves. We hope you had at least as much fun as we did!
