There are places where this can happen in 2025, and it’s 1000% authentic. Kyrgyzstan is one of those places. Villagers travel on horseback through the mountains in winter to harvest firewood and hunt. For our lead guide @petey_stone yesterday, it was a 6km ride to access our yurt camp after a short break in Karakol to pick up photog 📸@jsack_foto .

Any trip to East Greenland is an epic one. But this year’s—perhaps our final trip there—may have been the most epic. On the day of our intended arrival, the foggy beginnings of a spring storm kept our prop plane circling, eventually forcing its return to Iceland. Thwarted…but actually not. The at-first-unwanted storm gave us 3 days to explore Iceland, where we skied the Troll Peninsula and soaked in hot springs, all while we would have otherwise been lodge-bound in Greenland.
Finally touching down in Kulusuk days later, we were treated to perfect weather and perfect conditions. To quote one of the crew: “3 very sweet, unforgettable bluebird days,” in one of the most magical places on earth.
Thanks universe 🙏 And thanks @tymills for 5 epic years in East Greenland.

Well the Universe had different plans for us so far. Our Greenland trip saw us flying to Greenland Saturday circling above the fog then returning to Iceland. With a huge Greenlandic storm keeping us away we pivoted to North Iceland for an awesome side trip harvesting corn and enjoying views of the Fjords.
Making Lemonade!

Our crew has just rolled back into Longyearbyen following a week in the Arctic wilderness. Svalbard always delivers the most insane skiing experience!! Pow days, storm days, reindeer encounters, an epic basecamp (as always), and unreal golden hour light conditions cast by the midnight sun.
