Just woke up to the absolutely heart-wrenching news of James Lollar’s passing.
James was a tourmate, a labelmate, and a friend. He was one of the sweetest, most talented, and genuinely fun people we ever shared a stage with. We first toured together back in 2019, and I know it’s cliché to say the road has a way of showing you who people really are, but it’s true. James was just an absolute joy to be around and to watch perform every night.
That’s why when it came time to put together the lineup for our 10 year anniversary show, it was a no-brainer to make sure we had Gost there. He was an amazing guy who made innovative music and performed it like a bat out of hell.
I’m grateful for every mile, every show, every moment we got to share. I just wish we had more of them.
