#walkinginLA 💃🏻📸 🐿️ edition. So I was driving to an appt this week and turned down Robertson and saw this entire block of squirrel ads. Had an immediate moment of “was I drugged and started a cult without realizing??” 😳 Remembered I was driving and should pay attention. Then walked back during the week to get photos. It’s a group someone started and they had a meetup in NYC over the weekend. I’m wondering if LA is next 🤷🏻‍♀️. Obviously I will report back! 👩🏻‍🍳 Dans ma cuisine 🥜 the plated version of my Beans Encacahuatados from last week. It’s good but I think if I had gotten the tomatoes charred it would have been even better. Next time. 🍚 This week - Vietnamese Caramelized Lentils (vegan version of the pork dish). Will look better when I add the fresh veg it gets served with. I did a combo of cauliflower and regular rice and the dish itself is lentils with this wheat gluten I got at 99 Ranch (secretly high protein!) in a ginger garlic coconut sugar marinade that is caramelized into it. As Anne Burrell (RIP) always said - brown food tastes good 💔.
