Obviously, I couldn't come back from Cambodia, and especially from the Alrenative Festival, without acknowledging my favourite part of it and therefore without looking back on this authentic, magical, intense event, a real pirate adventure,
which I would describe as CONFIRMATIONS, SHARING AND DISCOVERIES
which was nothing more than a CONFIRMATION of the pirate roots mentality that organises itself as best it can according to the conditions, the means available and the location in order to achieve the best result for, above all, the pleasure of the party, the pleasure of bringing people together and making them dance,
which reminds me of our events, ah yes, not always according to the rules of the art of the pros, but we said Pirate, didn't we? and for me, these are intense memories engraved for life, tattooed in our memory,
with a team where everyone contributes their diverse talents, even those who don't have any in certain areas but who join the team to participate, and who always end up bouncing back at the last minute to find solutions.
CONFIRMATIONS of long-standing friendships, with whom it was so powerful for me to rediscover that feeling I had been missing, friends from the early days of WP but with whom I hadn't shared much yet, friendships already formed that were just waiting to develop, others that needed to be confirmed, not to mention all the new ones, recent ones with whom I hadn't really shared anything yet, or even forgotten a little sometimes 😇, and the budding ones with whom a magical and lasting future promises to be.
Thank you all for these shared moments, short or long, affectionate, sometimes difficult, supportive, but always intense and unforgettable So here is the first volume, the arrival and the construction of huts

Euuu,how can I put it? I’m happy and actually quite lucky to be back, even though before I left I didn’t really feel like it after all the great times I’d shared with my friends and the incredible experience I had at the Alternative Festival. But as they say, all good things must come to an end, but what a return journey!

When we arrived at the Oman Air counter at Bangkok airport, we were made to sign a waiver stating that they could only take our luggage as far as Munich because Lufthansa was on strike.(Nothing but lies) On arrival in Oman, we were told that we had to fly via Cairo to get to Munich, without being given any reason; obviously, with the detour via Cairo, we arrived late in Munich and found out that the strike actually didn’t start until the following day; but having arrived late because of the detour via Cairo, we’d obviously missed our flight. However, there was no one there to help us to find an hotel,or find us another flight, in fact, they ripped us off by making us sign that waiver so they were no longer liable
By lying about the strikes
So we found ourselves stranded at half past midnight in the airport, We checked the trains; they cost between €500 and €1,000. The next day, with the strike, the trains cost between €350 and €500. Our only option left was the Flexibus, which takes over 22 hours from Munich to Lausanne, Geneva, Lyon and Toulouse. You can imagine how happy I was – and I’d say lucky – to make it here, because even though it was long and tiring, I have to admit I was lucky to be able to get home compared to some of my friends who are still stuck in Asia. But this message is also intended to alert you to the current travel conditions from Oman Air 😉
Finally back 😀, with a good and stable connection and some free time after working at The Alternative Cambodia Festival,
Which was an amazing experience with a killer team 🧡
And with feelings of happiness.
So I would like to thank you all for your birthday wishes, even if it was 10 days ago but better late than never😉, and it meant a lot to me.
