On their DJ sets, Barbara explores different characteristics of sounds that range from deconstructed club, post club, percussive bass, breaks, classic and drumless trance — compiled in an overall flow that serves high energy, unpredictable, and sentimental feelings to the underground dancefloor, resistance rave and street march, local vogue night and kiki ballroom, and art festivals. Skilled in DJ-ing digitals, vinyl records, and cassette jockey since 2015. He is currently active in building community through several transdisciplinary platforms and fields. He is one of the co-founders of @temu_gerak , a movement gathering space for non-dancers and dancers to inspire each other through guerilla sessions. They are also an active member of @pure.records.bali (Panjer Unbounded Rhythm Ensemble!), and @disco.thique to organize different type of world through rave around Bali. He is also active as one of @qamerad ’s curator team in organizing guerilla film screenings and programs, as well as organizing performance workshops, writing performance essays, and incubating their physical theater acting and repertoires with @mulawaliinstitute . They are still producing music as lyricist and vocalist with a garage-punk unit that he co-founded in 2014, @bananachtunes , and starting to do live shows as one of the vocalists with Medan-based hardcore-punk band, @peachoftoday in 2025.

Mixtape ini juga hadir sebagai pengingat, jika perlawanan di era post modern ini bukan hanya sekedar adu teriakan di medan tempur di jalanan, tetapi juga beradu narasi di dunia maya yang semakin dipenuhi propaganda-propaganda penguasa buatan kecerdasan intelektual. R/Exist Station diinisiasi oleh Ali Azca, yang merupakan seorang desainer suara film, musisi elektronik, dan praktisi seni lintas disiplin dari Yogyakarta di Indonesia. Dia seringkali bermain-main dengan noise, ambience, improvisasi bebas, live/creative coding, dan arsip-arsip media di internet sebagai alat ekspresi artistik. Azca selalu tertarik dengan bahasan-bahasan spekulasi masa depan, relasi teknologi dengan manusia, dan hal-hal terkait internet of things. Remembering the godfather of the Singapore underground and my dear friend Irving Paul Pereira. The wake today starts from 12pm at Block 71, Marine Drive. Contact Rudi @rudi0s for more information. I first met Paul’s music before I met him in person. When my friend Rudi dropped me a link to a track called “Second Realm” that he said was made by his neighbour. I was obsessed, I felt like whoever made that music understood something important and it roused something deep in me as well. In the heyday of my artist space RAGA in MacPherson, Paul gradually drifted into my physical orbit and very quickly became family. He was always stopping by for a chat, and we shared many long, deep exchanges about life, music, spirituality, occultism and Butoh (which he loved). He brought his art, his sound, his words, and his avant-garde spirit into every aspect of his life—and into every community he loved and was a part of. Paul was like our North Star. He always had a soft spot for many of us crazy artists, whom he loved like his own. He was deeply loved and respected by all of us, and a powerful and gentle presence in our lives. One of my first ever Butoh performances, I had the honor of dancing to a live modular set by Paul, a mad child from outer space — gahara — a daughter from our collective subconscious. Paul was a true artist, he loved music, and he loved to dance. He was always at the shows—he came for everything, dressed in his signature dark clothes and rosary necklace. He was sometimes the oldest person at the raves, and sometimes the only attendee at the most obscure of shows. He loved the strange and the taboo, and anything fringe and transgressive. He would film all my performances and send the videos to me after every show. He once told me that he could always feel my energy—that no matter where I was in the world, we would always be connected, and that he would always be watching over me. I love you, Paul. Catch you in the etheric realms. I know that even if your physical vessel is gone, you’ll still be watching over us. I also hope that you will still support Paul’s art. He was prolific and left a huge legacy of work. @irvingpaulpereira @aftervolter
