Katie Munro - contemporary figurative artist working in pastels, charcoal, oil and watercolour.
Taken in her studio at The Hotwalls, Old Portsmouth as part of a series featuring the diverse group of creative artists who occupy the studios.
My intent with this project was to create a set of images that said something about the personality and the creative process of each artist.
Much of Katie's work is created from life, capturing movement, light and form.
It was great to spend some time with her talking all things art and photography.
Hopefully we will be collaborating on a future project exploring how movement can be interpreted in different art forms.
