Introducing the Stark Varg steering stop brace, our newest addition to the 3DP lineup. No, this part is not 3D printed, we’ve made the jump and branched out into CNC machined metal components!
The steering stop design on the Stark Varg MX1.0 is weak, and the stop can easily be ripped from the frame just like what happened on our personal Varg (see second photo) during anything more than a simple tip-over. This repair can be expensive, and even if you’re able to weld it back on yourself it’s not a fun operation to perform (ask us how we know. . .). Our steering stop brace is cheap insurance, and greatly reduces the risk of this type of failure happening to you.
Machined from 6061-T6 aluminum these braces are strong and light weight, with an elegant design that fits right at home with the curved lines of the Varg. Each brace also comes with aluminum mounting hardware, significantly reducing wear on the triple clamps over time and providing a cushioned yet firm feel when contacting the stops. We use only the highest quality material, sourced and machined 100% in the USA, with the aluminum hardware sourced from our friends over in the UK.
We’re huge fans of the Stark Varg and have loved every minute of ride time on ours, and this steering stop brace provides a significant amount of insurance against a failure that can really ruin your ride.

New one for the Varg riders, introducing our map switch guard for Stark Varg MX models!
During a recent race we had an incident where we inadvertently hit the mode switch on our Varg, dropping the power level down at a very inopportune time. The Stark map switch is great for making quick power level changes on the fly, however it is also very susceptible to being accidentally bumped.
With our map switch guard all buttons and indicator lights remain easily visible and accessible, but the risk of accidental button engagement is all but eliminated. Installation takes only seconds and requires no modifications, simply slide the switch guard into place and you’re done!
