A few months ago, for my birthday, the main thing I wanted was to take a train ride across the country… and I didn’t make time to do it. (How tf you let your own self down for your birthday? 😂)
Welp, as I was walking this morning trying to figure out which song to pick for the @mondaymorningexercises tomorrow, I saw a streetcar… I haven’t been on one since high school when I use to sneak on the back door without a bus ticket. So this morning, I hopped on. It’s not a train ride, and imma still do that, but often times we push off doing the thing our soul wants because we have so much other shxt to do… eventually we do so much of that that our soul stop giving us direction like, bxtch, you’re not gonna listen anyway. So phuck you. Finish listening to the world.” 😂 So the little things, the tiniest things, the smallest act towards giving our soul what it wants, tells our soul, “I hear you. I got you.”
