As usually I was chasing this watercolor feel and 2D animation look.

Fun fact: the cup in Alice's hand is exact copy of one in which my grandma serve me my first coffe when I was twelve. I felt so grown up then 😂

I couldn't resist to recreate my old illustration form 2014 as a little Christmas animation.
My animation plans were big (as usually) and mostly failed (as usually) but at least this project took me 3 evenings (only), I had a lot of fun (as usually)
And I am happy with the result anyway!

My Deep Paint course (@tada.gaku - the teacher) 3D assignment in Bkender from scratch to finish.
I spent loots of time on modeling, painting was the quickest part!
It is inspired by sweet Norwegian tenants and houses. I hope you like it!

My second assignment for Deep Paint 3Dnclasses by @tada.gaku . The theme was vehicle, and I should go with a beautiful prewar car, or steam punk baloon but... 🤷♀️I am just an (old) girl who loves fairytales, and I can't stop squeezeing them everywhere I can. Here for example I caught sneaky Cinderella who lis sneaky enough that it's not wise to put all eggs to one basket :)
I find the night scenes more difficult to achieve this 2D watercolor style which I admire in Gaku's work so much. It is the same with traditional watercolorsbtw. The fact that I used glass material for the pumpkin carriage doesn't help. Gives 3D look, but still I had too much fun with this to bother. I hope you will enjoy it too!

I’m taking it for a second time and I’m amazed how much Blender and the Deep Paint add-on have changed in just a year (always something new to learn!)
This wooden flower shop is inspired by two of my favorite places in Norway: Bergen and Røros 🇳🇴. I’m especially happy with the final painterly look and how closely it matches the illustration I created as a ref based on my photos from visiting Norway.
