And a late post for our Halloween marathon. @westcoastanne30 made mochi brownies, butterscotch blues cookies, black sesame Rice Krispies treats, and a delicious pile of graveyard bones. Designing the zine for this marathon was a fun new challenge for me, as it made me practice drawing again and building and typesetting the crossword and other assets pushed me out of my comfort zone and made me try new things. Had a great time as friends throughout the day dropped in to watch some J-Horror with us!
@westcoastanne30 and I celebrated our anniversary by visiting the Getty Villa, eating several delicious meals, including one at Castaway during the magic hour, and watching a lot of silly horror films. Such a peaceful and perfect weekend together. ❤️🥂💍

Always the highlight of our haunt season, we had such a great time at @enterdelusion last night. They made great use of the space and I’m happy to say we made it safely out of Hell (even though we lost Paul for a hot minute—whoops!).
Well, it's that time of year again. Time for another one of our Halloween movie marathons. This spooky season, I decided to turn the dial to 11 and programmed our scariest lineup yet. This year's theme is all J-Horror, with #Ringu, #PerfectBlue, and #Audition being the lineup. Here's the trailer! (And don't watch if you can't handle scary movies--I'm warning ya!) Mwuhahahahaha!
Another #MidsummerScream down! @westcoastanne30 and I had a great time Saturday. Got a holy grail signature on my Halloween box set from the legend himself, #JohnCarpenter! Also, had a fun chat with #JoeBobBriggs and #DarcytheMailGirl as they signed a couple more items from our Last Drive In related collection. Plus, some beautiful art from #DiscoBloodbath and #RhodeMontijo. Even though I spent most of the day waiting in line for Carpenter’s autograph, it was a very fun day. Glad we have today to recover! 🎃🦇🖤

Some of the homemade treats we made for my birthday movie marathon today! @westcoastanne30 made cast-iron cornbread and Mean Green Mother cookies (in honor of Audrey II from Little Shop of Horrors). The signature cocktail this year is The Ginger Rogers!
Had a wonderful birthday weekend with @westcoastanne30 . She took me to an amazing surprise birthday dinner, made me a carrot cake, and we had a picnic today at the park (including a burrata, prosciutto, and cantaloupe sando!) while I got to lounge around and read a book. Perfect weekend!
My birthday is coming up and as I always do, I am hosting a movie marathon. Decided to do classic Hollywood musicals this year, a genre that I think is truly exceptional when it lands. It's a mixed bag of titles that people know, people sort of know, and all of them films that I think are worth sharing with friends!
