Last week, we had our annual Lonnie Dean Day. A tradition where we step away from the day-to-day, come together as a team, and honor the legacy Lonnie Dean left behind in our culture, our work ethic, and the way we show up for each other. Since 2020, things haven’t been the same without him, but his impact has been one of the most lasting and defining parts of who we are today. Lonnie was the kind of person who made every room better just by being in it. He had a way of showing up that was steady and genuine. He cared about people first, led by example, and had a work ethic that quietly set the standard for everyone around him. Whether the day was easy or difficult, Lonnie brought a sense of calm, positivity, and dependability that people could lean on. He didn’t just do his job well, he made the people around him better while doing it.
This year, we kicked things off at
@gameshowbattlerooms.dallas , a little friendly competition, lots of laughs, and just the right amount of rivalry. Team Red (Haley and the boys) SWEPT Team Blue 🏆 (we’ll let that speak for itself). We gathered for a team lunch and our own “Dundie”-style awards, celebrating the quirks, energy, and personalities that make this team what it is.
We ended the day with our Lonnie Dean Awards, recognizing two team members this year.
Cesar Chiriboga, graphic installer, has been with us since 2024 and continues to be a leader in our Dallas HQ shop. He shows up every day with a strong work ethic, great energy, and a consistent positive influence on everyone around him. He’s dependable, detail-oriented, and always willing to jump in wherever he’s needed.
Cade Cigainero, part of our team since 2018, helps lead our sales department with loyalty, consistency, and a steady presence. You can usually find him starting the day with a honey bun and energy drink at 8am, ready to get after it.
Lonnie Dean Day is our most meaningful tradition of the year. It’s about people, connection, and carrying forward the culture Lonnie built with us. We miss him deeply, but we feel his impact every day in the way this team works, supports each other, and shows up with heart.
