The biggest mistake I make when it comes to my photoshoots is sometimes forgetting to shoot B.T.S 😅😅😅😅 Instead, I’m normally trying to catch the most candid moments of my couples every second I have whether in-studio or outdoors. I just prefer keeping my attention on them and having a relaxed energy around me, and so that my clients can be as natural as possible. As an Anthropologist, we spent a lot of time learning the key skill of “participant observation”. In order to document or capture the most authentic moments, we really got to keep our surroundings in its most natural state, otherwise the subject will feel “unnaturally observed” and lose their trust. Choosing when to catch BTS is a toss up sometimes. But the number one goal is always making sure every couple feels as comfortable and relaxed as possible.
