The rear elevation of our exciting Landmark project in Wicker Park consisting of a full gut renovation and conversion from a single-family home to a 2-flat. Many exciting sustainable strategies are implemented in this project including triple glazing and a geothermal system for heating and cooling. In the second image, the geothermal wells are being drilled in advance of the construction project. The wells are range between 460’ and 500’ in depth.

We are close to obtaining a building permit for an exciting project consisting of a full gut renovation and conversion of a single-family home to a 2-flat. Located in the in the Wicker Park Landmark District, we are ushering in the next 100 years of life for this building by reimagining the 2-flat typology for modern and multi-generational living. Many exciting sustainable strategies are implemented in this project including triple glazing and a geothermal system for heating and cooling. We will also reintroduce historic elements that have been removed over the past 130 years. These elements include an ornamental cornice, windows consistent with the Wicker Park Landmark District, and the front porch. Construction will start a soon as the ground thaws.
