Shot on film in the stunning South Island town of Twizel, When The Geese Flew had its’ world premiere earlier this year in Cannes. Then it was on to NZIFF 2025. Directed so skillfully by Arthur Gay and produced by the amazing Laura Ganotis, it’s a stunning example of cinematic beauty and storytelling. We’re very proud to have cast this one. #322casting

Kura series II was a casting career highlight. A really nice balance of trust and openness from the creative team. As a result we found some amazing actors. Big budgets have big pressures and can make for some pretty conservative casting decisions. But when the budget is lower and every department is hungry to make the best of what they have, it can make for the ultimate collaborative experience. In this case, the result is onscreen. Co-Written by James Watson & Vince McMillan, Directed by Vince McMillan, DOP Tim Flower, Produced by Gareth Williams for Plus6Four Entertainment and Exec. Produced by the Reel Factory team, this gem of a show can still be seen on TVNZ+ - Get it! @reelfactory @_plus6four_ @tim_flower @garethwnz @iamjameswatson @vincemcmillan #322casting

Casting The Mountain for @pikifilms was an absolute treat. - We actually commenced casting during Covid times. As you can imagine, this presented challenges but we soldiered on and got there in the end. And look at these gorgeous tamariki; Terrence, Beth & Reuben. Can't wait to see you shine bright up on the big screen. - A huge thank you to each and every young person who auditioned for us, and to the whānau that enabled it to happen. Cheers to the rest of the cast. You made life easy. Thank you Rachel, Desray, Morgan & Carthew for your vision, trust, sensitivity and support. And 🥂to the casting team Serena and Matt, and Stace and Semu back at the beginning. Appreciate you. - Go and see this film whānau, and support New Zealand cinema. From the moment the cast lineup was officially announced, I've never been more excited about a show than I am about Silo Theatre's upcoming production of - A View From The Bridge. The stars have indeed aligned. The director & cast are exquisite. I tip my hat to the skillful casting. Specific, assured, refreshing, and deliberate. If you see ONE theatre show this year, PLEASE make it this one. Tickets are as low as $25 for industry/actors. It is a must see. I don't say this lightly. Do NOT miss it. - If you want to be an actor. If you want to be inspired as an actor. If you want to feel something. If you want to see what's possible. If you want to get excited about this craft, this profession. Reinvigorate your belief in live performance. If you want a truly legitimate reason to put down the remote... Go and see this play. Cast this slick Liquorland spot for the team at Radlab. Thanks Georgia for having us onboard. Directed by one of the most prolific directors in town, casting for Ando is only ever a good time. And what a great ensemble cast we found. Making me thirsty... Cheers all.🥂Bring on Summer!!! #322casting

For the second year now, we’re proud to have cast the Qantas campaign. Produced by the amazing Matt & Michelle at Supernormal, and directed by Kick-A director Liv McClymont. This was a special one. Our first task was to find real people with a real Trans-Tasman story. Then cast the actors to match. A beautiful story about family, connection, following your dreams, and reunion. And then there’s the carrier that brings them all together. Nice one Qantas. 🥂

This stunning looking ad was a pleasure to cast. Lots of great actors came through. Ryan was on the money and nabbed the job, along with a few chips... - Produced by the class act that is Amanda Summersby from @welcometosupernormal and directed by one of the most easy going, chill directors I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with @jessevogelaar . Safe to say the entire process was about as golden as these sun bathed chips. Enjoy! #322casting

Third in this series of spots for SKY. Bring on the Bledisloe, is all I'll say. That and thanks Phil, @uso_jax and the ABs for your performances. #322casting

The second in a series of three spots we cast for SKY. - We found the perfect actor for this role, in Hennie. Lovely performance. - As a casting director, I always like to run with the script as is. But if the actor is up for it, it's always fun to do a couple of takes where the actor is cutting loose and improvising. It can really unearth some gems. Sometimes improvised moments can even end up in the final ad. Other times not. But at the very least, an ability to improvise within a given scenario shows off an actors skill set. And that, in turn, can instil confidence in all the decision makers that this actor is a safe bet for the job. - Looking forward to this Saturday... #322casting
