TORONTO STYLE FUNDRAISER - JAN 11
Toronto Style has been a staple of Toronto hardcore, and local music in general, for some time now. A couple weeks ago some drunk idiot thought it would be cool to destroy Toronto Style’s bathroom, causing them massive and expensive damage, and jeopardizing one of our most beloved local venues. Losing T style would be a devastating loss to our music community.
We’re running a fundraiser to help reimburse Toronto style for the damage costs, to repair their wall and most importantly to show them that the actions of one idiot do not represent the love and respect that the music scene holds toward the venue and its owners.
Should go without saying but respect the fucking venue or you’ll get removed.

Tkaronto, July 1, we honour Alex Brownlee who was our brother and friend. He was also an Anishinaabe man, son, nephew, cousin, skater, loud mouth, handsome mug, huge smiley guy, and a tough ass mothefucker, among so many other things. July 1 we ask you to come together to celebrate the life of our fallen brother so that we can donate the proceeds to organizations that help keep indigenous relatives, like Alex, safe, connect them with culture, help them with houseless-ness, generational trauma, overall mental health and addiction battles. He was a descendant, now ancestor and we miss him so fucking much. Ribbon skirts, beadwork, feathers and more are encouraged for our indigenous relatives in attendance. Wear em with pride, fuck your Canada Day.
