One of the biggest compliments we can get:
“Our guests are still talking about the food.”
Jenna & Mike shared that food was one of the most important parts of the wedding for them, which honestly made us even more excited to work together.
From the tasting to the final menu selections, every part of the experience was really intentional and personal to them.
That’s always the goal for us. Not just serving dinner, but helping create an event people genuinely enjoy being part of.
There’s something really special about the quiet moments between a mother and her child on a wedding day.
The deep breath before the dress goes on.
Fixing the veil one more time.
A handwritten note folded carefully in shaking hands.
That look that says “I’m so proud of you” without needing any words at all.
Today we’re celebrating the moms, stepmoms, grandmothers, mother figures, and women who show up with steady hands, full hearts, and unconditional love. So much of a wedding day is built on the care they’ve poured in for years before this moment ever arrived.
Happy Mother’s Day to the women behind so many beautiful celebrations. 🤍

Love a good theme? Good. We do too.
This one came together exactly the way it was supposed to. Great food, thoughtful details, signature cocktails, and a room that felt completely transformed once guests walked in.
One of the best parts of hosting at Duo is getting to build events that don’t all feel the same.
Big thank you to @partywithmia for the design and @thescenecoffeeny for the gelato cart addition to the celebration!
A dessert that comes to you.
Right onto the dance floor, into the middle of the party, while everyone’s already in the moment.
The strolling cannolis were such a good fit for this couple.
Stacey dancing through the room, guests grabbing cannolis between songs, the groom getting handed one mid dance floor, everyone laughing and leaning into it together.
It’s those kinds of details that shift dessert from “part of the timeline” into part of the experience.
What happens right after the ceremony?
Your guests make their way to cocktail hour.
The bar is ready.
Antipasto station waiting.
They grab a drink, start talking, moving from one conversation to the next, taking in the energy of the day.
Some head over to sign the guest book.
Some find a spot and stay there for a while.
Some go straight for another bite.
It feels light.
Happy.
Easy.
And you…
you’re finally married!
Off taking those just-married photos, having a minute together, maybe with a drink and something to eat in hand because yes, we made sure that found you too.
All of it happening at once.
Your guests enjoying themselves.
You getting that time together.
That’s what cocktail hour should feel like.

There’s something about cocktail hour.
You’re finally exhaling, seeing people you love, drink in hand, and then something small and really good shows up right when you didn’t know you wanted it.
Hand passed bites are never just food.
They move through the room, meet people where they are, and keep the energy going without interrupting it.
A few minutes between conversations.
One more bite.
Another tray coming through.
It’s subtle, but it’s part of what makes the whole thing feel effortless.

Hallelujah for this part.
The quiet moments in between everything else.
Looking at each other, taking it in, actually being present on your wedding day.
It’s easy to forget how much is happening around you.
The timeline, the service, the flow of the room, your guests, the food, the drinks, all of it moving at once.
Our role in full-service wedding catering is to take care of everything around you so you don’t have to think about it.
So you can be here.
So you can enjoy it.
So you can actually be together.
That’s the goal every time.

Now announcing… the new Mr & Mrs 🥹🎉
This was the most fun day with the KINDEST couple. They came all the way from Buffalo to get married here in Saratoga Springs and the Canfield didn’t disappoint! I loved how the whole weekend was filled with them being in the moment and having the pictures focused on the wedding, not the other way around.
I can’t wait to edit these all, but for now here’s some previews!
And thank you to the vendors who made the day such a success:
