Artist Feature - @2oo.tone
Too Tone is a dynamic duo comprised of Khuma and Tiro Ratone. These two brothers share a close bond and have an aura that is sure to get people vibing and feeding off their energy.
Khuma, who has various nicknames, has a keen taste for melodic sounds that have an African style to them. Khuma brings forth a blend of deep-house and Afro-tech. When performing as a live
duo, Khuma takes helm of the djembe drums while Tiro keeps the rhythm set, ensuring your body is right on beat with your soul. Khuma has always had an inclination toward music and has dabbled with various instruments while growing up. His love for house music comes from being exposed to all kinds of music at family gatherings. That translated into the style of music he loves playing.
Lowtyde is the creative extension of Tiro Ratone, is one that mainly focuses on everything house and electronica. Citing the Heavy Dee Krewβs BPM 45 compilation as his inspiration to start pursuing music, he instantly fell in love with the art of mixing and has since expanded his skill to form what is Lowtyde. Since
then, Tiro has continually pushed behind the decks to blend the various channels of house, be it old school or sub, South African or European, into a beautiful groove which will accompany you, no matter your journey.
