Second Presbyterian Church will host a “Garden Party” with a cafe-style lunch in the park offered as a Missions fundraiser the first Saturday of the Spoleto Festival.
Come for a fun event in Wragg Square Park in front of the church with music by Lime and the Coconuts, garden tours, and a delicious tea room menu featuring an array of homemade desserts.

We are excited to have @charlestongospelchoirsc join us in worship this Sunday at 10:30 a.m. CGC is in residence here at Second Presbyterian Church, and we look forward to their upcoming Piccolo Spoleto concert honoring Lucille Simmons Whipper in our sanctuary on June 6.
We’re excited to have a 6-week series Sunday school hour with something for all ages beginning April 19! Come as you can on Sundays April 19 to May 24 from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m.
Adults are welcome to join a 6-week course upstairs in the conference room led by Elizabeth Killen, PhD, MPH. This study is designed to help Christians navigate the intersection of faith and politics in a way that is deeply rooted in scripture, centered on Jesus, and oriented toward humility, hope, and faithful discipleship. Rather than offering political prescriptions, The After Party: Toward Better Christian Politics invites participants to examine the posture of their discipleship.
We are looking forward to offering a time for our youth during this hour! Middle grade children (ages 10-15) are invited to meet upstairs with Lucie Medbery and other volunteers for a "donuts & devotions" time of community building, activities and games to foster faith and curiosity.
Allyson Carrington and volunteers will be downstairs to provide childcare for elementary school students and little ones.

Thank you to our March volunteers who provided breakfast for the folks at Star Gospel Mission. This is a monthly mission of Second Presbyterian and we are grateful to support our neighbors in this way. By providing resources for people experiencing homelessness, hardships, or addictions, @stargospelmission has been transforming lives in Charleston for over 120 years.

Walk for Water 2026 is next Saturday at Riverfront Park. Register to walk with us or donate to support our “Second to None” team!
Millions of women and children walk more than three miles to collect their family's daily water needs. Since 2007, the Walk for Water in Charleston has brought safe water and God's love to thousands of people in need. This year, we will come together to bring clean, safe water to more than 14,000 people in need around the world.
