“Step into Your Power,” In collab w @vocochoirs ❤️🔥 2MX2 had the honor of performing with the vibrant & talented youth of Vocal Coalition once again, this time for Vococella 2026! ✨ We wrote this song with the youths suggested theme: Step into Your Power! @dmdtheproducer crafted the musical masterpiece💪🏼 and they brought it to life last night on stage 🔥 we wanna thank Voco for learning our song and performing it with such vigor 🙏🏽 we know the work it takes to put your all into a performance and everyone felt just how much energy you put into it! The whole show was beautiful the youth also performed songs by our friend @oldmansaxon who always brings so much love and good vibes to the stage, they performed songs by our dear friends @thereminders & more! This one was created in collaboration with the insanely talented students at McGlone Academy’s Confluence Center during the Free Period Concert Series.
These young creatives weren’t just “helping”… they filmed, recorded, and edited our entire performance from start to finish. And the craziest part? They were already running their own podcasts, doing interviews, and building real media skills before we even stepped in the room.
Big love to the students and the teachers who are creating an environment where youth can really shine. Their passion inspired us heavy.
This submission isn’t just about 2MX2… it’s about community, youth creativity, and why schools NEED to invest in art + media education.
