Thought I would do a little strength test on one of my blades. An iron "cowboy staple" and a 3lb sledge were there test equipment, didn't have a wooden baton to use. First test was 4 strikes on different areas on the blade, and it held up fine, a little glinting but no rolled edges. Second test I tried to cut the staple in half, on the 5th hit the blade chipped, all 5 hits were in the same spot. Over all I am pretty happy with the way my heat treat has turned out.

This week finally got around to finishing my camp/Bushcraft knife. Just in time as we will be taking the Jeep out on a camping trip this weekend. Pretty happy with how it turned out.

Finished up the cargo area of the Jeep this weekend. Got the 12v power center all enclosed, frig powered up and some of the storage sorted out.

Added an LOD Destroyer rear bumper and tire carrier. Man this thing is beefy might need to get some spacers for the rear springs. Jeep is almost done for the camping season.

Worked more on the cargo area power center. Ran a #4 copper wire from the dial battery setup though a 100a breaker. Routed the wire through the Jeep behind the molding and carpet. Wired up the switches and outlets through a fuse block. Just need some more abs to finish boxing it in. In the future I will be adding an inverter.

Started work on the 12v power center in the rear of the Jeep. Wish I had a little more clearance to the frig... But I will wire up a third cigarette plug behind the rear seats for the frig power.

New front bumper and winch are installed. They put the wrong size T-nuts in the kit for the winch plate tie in so I had to buy out the welder... Had not used it in 14 years... And it showed... But got the job done. I like the look of the setup.

Finished up the wiring project today. Got all the wires installed in looms and zip tied into place. All the garage lights are off in the light photos.
