New MOC announcement! I’ve already been hard at work on this for about a month, and I expect it to go a lot longer- this is my model inspired by The Ebon Hawk from the legendary Knights of the Old Republic series! It’s going to be roughly minifig scale (scaling to the exterior, rather than the extremely disproportionate interior- video game magic) while still having every single room represented in some fashion! This WIP post represents approximately 1/3 of the finished model, which should be around 29 inches long, 26 inches wide and contain roughly 4000 pieces. It will be available in rebrickable instructions only form and as a kit through Barweer! New MOC teaser time! I’m finishing up the Imperial Ambunaut instructions and video, but at the same time I’ve been tinkering with another obscure Andor vehicle; the HFY-3920 Shuttle Ferry or simply the Ferrix shuttle. We see Luthen taking this craft in the very first episodes of Andor, as he makes his way to Ferrix City to meet Cassian for the first time! The shuttle has an opening passenger door, landing gear, seating for a pilot and 9 passengers! So psyched to try this again!! Barweer is a great company because they actually care a great deal about what they put out- after I gave them feedback on the Mantis they took it extremely seriously and went back to refine the model spending months testing and even added the display stand I designed as part of the set going forward. My next obscure Star Wars ship is the Imperial Ambunaut from Andor Season 2! This ship was only glimpsed in one crucial scene and is part of a larger MOC I’m working on! This flying ambulance was seen operating on the Imperial capital of Coruscant, continuing a long tradition of Star Wars emergency service vehicles in operation on the massive city planet! Eat at Baratie!! But watch out, these portions may be smaller than you’re used to…my mini Baratie Restaurant is a shrunken down version of the epic $330 set from LEGO. It’s got everything the big one has, only smaller. The characters are all here, the interior, Mihawk’s boat, even the lobster Sanji was preparing in the kitchen represented with a hair bow element! I had an absolute blast studying the pictures and videos of the set to get all the little nuances in here, and I hope you all enjoy building it once the instructions debut in a few days time!
