i was brought in as the solo artist for a turn based roguelike card game based on the rules of blackjack. Had two weeks to put together all the art and animations, and I’m pretty chuffed with the results!

Brandyn Malbrick grew tired of his dull life working at the stuffy dwarf bank in Neoldra. After his wife left him, it became clear that something needed to change. He’d always been a writer, mostly short stories and poems about snails, but now he set out to find adventure, and write the best memoir anyone would ever read. He soon found that his words held magical power, and through his typewriter, he cast spells to aid him and his companions on their escapades.
Brandyn is Bard of the College of Creation, but also known for his uncanny luck and sick dance moves.

Trailblazer: Odyssey Prototype Update
We’ve had such an amazing time building this game together. What started as a 2-day game jam turned into a huge learning experience and something we are incredibly proud of ✨
For now, we’re taking a break from development to focus on other projects, but we are excited to return to Trailblazer in the future and see where else it can go 🗺️
