Hi! My name is Twiggy, but my foster mom also calls me Love, Lovie, Baby, Sweetie, Couch Potato and sometimes “Big Old Lug” when I’m taking up her side of the bed at night (how rude!).
My likes? I love zoomies in the backyard, snoozing in chairs and car rides. Oh, I also love dogs and people, and snuggling … lots and lots of snuggling.
My dislikes? I really don’t like loud trucks, not really fond of lots of traffic, and I don’t like anyone stealing my toys.
I’m a 6-year-old Doberman Pincher mix. I’m a fun-loving, big, curvy girl (how dare you ask my weight, but I’m about 70 lbs.!). I’m looking for a long-term relationship. I’ve done the short-term foster thing and, no knock on it, but I really am just looking for a genuine connection with someone who thinks it’s OK for me to snore in their ear at night. I’ve been through board-and-train, so I’m an educated gal.
Must haves for my new relationship:
🐾 a yard with a fence so I can run around and chase squirrels and bunnies;
🐾 patience with me on a leash (I listen, but have a short attention span);
🐾 no young kids. It’s not that I don’t like them or can’t be around them. I can! But they’re small and sometimes get in my way. Plus, I don’t really understand personal space, so I don’t want to hurt them.

Meet Tom! Tom is a 2-year-old, 10-pound Chihuahua mix with a big heart and an even bigger need for snuggles. His original dad developed dementia and had to let him go, so Tom is looking for a new person to call his own. And honestly? All Tom wants is to be that person’s whole world.

I have what humans call "medium energy" - I love to go for walks (or jogs) around the neighborhood, go hiking, and play with my toys, but I'm also really good at hanging out and being a quiet companion. I don't mind my crate, I never have accidents in the house, I sleep through the night on my dog bed, I only bark sometimes if I think something is wrong, and I don't play with things that aren't mine. Meet Phineas! This handsome 8-month-old Lab mix is the perfect mix of playful puppy and loyal companion. He’s absolutely obsessed with people and loves following his humans around the house to see what they’re doing and learn all things human. He’s happiest when he’s close by, whether that’s playing, hanging out, or just supervising your daily routine.
Phineas sleeps through the night in his crate and does a great job sharing food and toys with the other dogs and kids in his foster home. He’s still very much a big puppy, so he enjoys having things to do, but he’s also perfectly happy chewing on a bone nearby while you’re busy.

Don't let his sleek grey coat, soft floppy ears, and stunning hazel eyes distract you. Stuart may look like a striking and refined pedigree, but in reality, he's a big goofball! Stuart thinks he will fit perfectly into any lap and looks for opportunities to make that happen!
Stuart has wonderful obedience skills (sit, stay, shake, down, come, leave it and place) - He is very smart, always eager to please and very treat motivated. He is fully house trained, crate trained and also has wonderful leash manners.
Stuart loves to play with most other dogs (following proper introductions), loves children and has successfully resided with a feline. Due to his size and energy level during play, Stuart would likely do best with medium to larger dogs (smaller dogs tend to be intimidated by his size) and should be supervised around younger children - he loves to gallop in the yard or during feeding time and may, accidentally, fail to notice a smaller child in his excitement.
Having come from a less than desirable home situation, new surroundings, crowded places, and some new new people may make Stuart a bit nervous from time to time. But, he has had the opportunity to work with his foster family in these areas to create positive associations and has made wonderful strides - he now rewards his foster family with endless belly rubs and voluntarily offers his paw for a shake! He has gained confidence in meeting new people with just a little bit of structure and reassurance from those he trusts.
