it was so fun wearing howl and sophie again at katsu 💕 i removed the train from sophie’s dress and fixed the fur on howl’s jacket so they were much more comfortable to wear :> davey and i both loved these big glass windows outside the convention center and the small garden area in front of it felt perfect for howl and sophie 😭💖

Our full Elden Ring skit that we presented at ALA! I am really happy that Sam and Brendan brought the Malenia and Vyke battle to life. And special thanks to Jessie for bringing Ranni, full face paint and all, to add that extra oomph to our performance! Competing at ALA again was yet another awesome experience and I am always amazed at the work and dedication from the ALA staff.

AND WE WON BEST ACTION! This is Sam and I’s 4th competition and every year thus far, we have won a performance award. This makes me very happy because planning our performance has always the most fun part of competing for me. The ever elusive craftsmanship award escapes us again but that pushes us to continue striving for it. We are already cookin’ for next time!

Elden ring has some of the coolest designs I’ve ever seen and I am so happy that we got to bring our cosplays to the beautiful ALA theater. Messmer was such a crazy project that pushed sam and I to learn a lot of new skills.
I worked for SO LONG to put together a skit that would be fitting for such dramatic costumes. Our team practiced and refined the performance and with the support of the excellent ALA masquerade staff, we ended up with a performance that I will always remember. (Full group pic at the end!)

We took zero professional photos in Elden ring at ALA but @jay_phoenix_cos came in clutch by shooting THE ENTIRE SHOW. (Special thanks for these shots!!) Taken moments before Vyke got his vengeance.
