HISTORY: 28 gates was originally a horse stables and grain lofts built in 1936 and then when the fires came through in 1967, the original shearer’s quarters were destroyed plus plenty more so they raised the roof and turned it into shearer’s quarters. We decided to do a full renovation and took over 2 years to complete and opened in November 2011. You can see with the photos of what it originally was like! It is was well before Airbnb and accommodation was not what it is today. We have certainly seen some change and we look forward to welcoming more people to our farm. When a project has been in the making for 5 years and nearly finished is a weird feeling of so many emotions. Our new accommodation ‘Circus Key’ will be opened for bookings with a new updated website hopefully in May, ready for Spring welcoming. A place where you are away from everyone, quiet , peaceful, time to rest and just be, on our beautiful Circus Lake.
