this is fortunate news for me to share, unfortunate news for you to receive 😭 but i am taking two leaves in these next two months. there’s no convenient time for me to leave but i’ve tried to make my schedule beyond available for you guys. i’ll be working 20 days straight until the day of my first leave. usually i work monday through saturday but i have opened my sundays up for you guys as well. i highly advice booking in advance to secure your appointment. i will still be taking squeeze in appointments and after hours if it gets to that point depending on both of our schedules. i know i’m missing a couple birthdays and events that you guys need your hair done for and i am so sorry if my timing doesn’t work with yours. i will try my absolute best to accommodate everyone so please book ahead and see me before i go!
both of these leaves are reserved for two different trips i have planned. i will still be working when i’m outside of the country so don’t be surprised if you see some content that isn’t local hehe. i have my clients to thank for supporting my business which made these trips possible in the first place. thank you so much for your understanding and i hope to see you in my chair soon!

i braided apo whang od 🥹
and i can’t even begin to describe how honorable this experience was. during my time away, i visited my home country and traveled to buscalan, home of the oldest tattoo artist in the world, apo whang od. i received two traditional pieces from her on either side of my face and was granted the opportunity of braiding her. she’s 108 years old, my oldest client to date hehe. i’m still reeling about this moment, what an honour to service a legend like apo. an even bigger blessing that she loved her hair :)

my first braidup in sint maarten 🇸🇽
i went on this trip without any intention of working but alas i somehow always find someone to braid lol i was so unprepared. i did this braidup w a tub of red one and an edge brush. no mousse, no sheen, i didn’t even have a comb 😂 not perfect but still came out saucy tho.
i started traveling last year and i’ve braided in every country i’ve been to so far. it feels surreal to be able to practice what i love everywhere i go. thank you to all my clients who continuously support and choose me as their stylist. i am so grateful for your trust and i cannot wait to see all of you back in my chair :)

attention all two strand warriors: STOP. you’re bored and i’m bored can we please just not cause i’ve had nuff 😭. not everyday twist twist twist. plaits are a super sick alternative for a different look and feel. and if you’re like a lot of the rest of my clients and love wearing your locs with a twist out, a braid out is 100x better since the plaits hold a lot tighter. consider this style for your next appointment 😌
