Worlds didn't go exactly as we planned. On the positive side, our swerve robot was๐Ÿ. Didn't have a single loose bolt or mechanical error the entire week. On the negative side, we made some stress induced strategy calls that just didn't work and had some tough rule interpretations from the refs that we need to study. Special shout out to @4410_arclightning that came to our booth with Oreos and cheered us up after five consecutive losses. ๐Ÿงก Special shout out to @greenmachines_17324 who came to our rescue and was the best Drive Coach ever. ๐Ÿ’š Special shout out to The Moment Makers and Hawk for being our semi-finals alliance. Thank you for trusting us. We wish we could have done so much more for you. ๐Ÿฉท๐Ÿ’› Grateful for the journey and the (sometimes harsh but mostly good) lessons. Now we prep for MTI.

Wrapped up our last outreach event as a team yesterday. ๐Ÿงก From the early days of beach cleanups, to school demos, to teaching at summer camps, to community festivals, to meeting Spot and other bots at TAMU, to mentoring, to hosting middle school scrimmages, to introducing FTC to businesses and government officials...it's been an amazing three years.

Houston Regionals WA!!!! We're going to Worlds!!! Entirely new robot with swerve drivetrain that we finished building and programming the night before. Our first round we had static. Our second round we took a hit in auto and our controls inverted (we discovered the reset button was never put into the swerve programs). Our third round was clean but our alliance partner had some trouble. Fourth and fifth rounds, we learned how to drive swerve. Ended the day rank 7. In alliance selection, the Moment Makers put all their trust in us and a sorted 27 ball auto we had developed together. Playing against all the teams in Finals was amazing, but in particular Hive and Cosmo were the perfect opponents. The number of artifacts classified, we think, was within one or two balls every match and the total number classified for both teams under heavy defense was insane. Thank you again to The Moment Makers ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’› Thank you again to @hive25943 ๐Ÿ and @cosmobots25679 ๐Ÿš€ and all the other teams. Thank you @wow_25955 โค๏ธ for being our cheer squad. Thank you Chris for THE LUCKY SHOE! ๐Ÿงก๐Ÿงก๐Ÿงก๐Ÿงก๐Ÿงก๐Ÿงก๐Ÿงก๐Ÿงก๐Ÿงก๐Ÿงก We're going to Worlds!!!

Good day at LM3! We were pretty worried because we decided to switch back to our V1 shooter on Monday, but it was totally the right decision. It gave us time to focus on drive practice and consistency. Definitely going back to brainstorm our V2 shooter so we can hopefully reduce backspin and find a way to keep the V1 reliability. League Championship in 3 weeks!!
