Conan is done. I sculpted him based on the awesome art style of Scottie Young We at @1upworkshop printed him, and I had a go to paint him :)

We’ve been prototyping a new lamp, and it’s been a fun one to bring to life.
The design is fully 3D printed, with the only non-printed part being the LED strip of course.
It’s always exciting to explore what’s possible when design, printing, and lighting all come together.

Straight out of the workshop and on its way across the globe
A helmet and a pair of batons, printed in-house and prepared for testing.
This helmet and pair of batons were printed on our in-house print farm, then went through light post-processing: sanding, priming, painting, and a touch of weathering on the baton hilts.
The helmet was kept clean on purpose and finished with a matte clearcoat. This gives the client freedom to experiment with their own weathering and add personality, while still being able to return to a clean look.
The next stage is checking how the helmet performs for voice recording. Hopefully it will soon find its place on a YouTube channel with close to 200,000 subscribers!
Had to test print my alien priest bust… and it came out way too clean not to try painting it 👽🖌️
I’m still new to painting, but I’m honestly surprised how it’s turning out so far!
