18th Ward Brewing

We are Excited and Grateful to take home a Gold Medal in the Experimental Category for our Maanga Mango Pilsner at the 2026 New York Craft Beer Competition. We brewed this unique style in conjunction with @andrewa1590 (who came to help out on brew day)and Mona Hospitality Group for @monanewro . Sal created a unique recipe with Mango purée and a hint of Cardamom spice on a Pilsner base that pairs with @monanewro Indian Fusion food perfectly. It drinks amazing on its own and even better with a meal.

We collaborated with @wolfwarriorbrewingcompany for this BIG Triple IPA. Mike invited us to his brew space and him and @sal.tacc worked together to create this masterpiece. Coming in 10.6% and using 4lbs of Hops this Local Triple was a long brew day, but oh so satisfying. Available on Tap and in Can at @18thwardnewro and @wolfwarriorbrewingcompany !

A Bittersweet Goodbye… (for Now!) 🍻 After an incredible six years, our Brooklyn taproom has officially closed. We can’t thank our friends, neighbors, and loyal fans enough for all the memories, laughter, and amazing pints shared over the years. You’ve made this journey unforgettable! But this isn’t the end—we’re just getting started. Our New Rochelle location will remain open, and we’re thrilled to share that we’ve purchased an 18,000 sq ft warehouse upstate! The space is now being built out to become our new production home, giving us room to grow and continue brewing the beers you love. And yes, Brooklyn, we’re not gone for good! A new taproom with a smaller production footprint will be opening in the borough in the near future. We can’t wait to see you again soon and share our next chapter with you. Chris Donnelly is an author and baseball historian, whose work has largely, though not exclusively, focused on New York City baseball in the late 20th and early 21st centuries.
