I’m sharing a translated and dubbed video about the history of Daybreaker and how it’s had a genuinely positive impact on my life. For me, sober dancing wasn’t just about mornings or music. It was about connection, presence, and finding joy without needing to escape anything. Daybreaker helped reframe what celebration could look like, and that shift stayed with me. I translated and dubbed this video into Spanish as a small but intentional way to reach Spanish-speaking communities who may not have encountered this story yet. Language shouldn’t be a barrier to belonging, especially when the message is about movement, wellness, and human connection. This is also a reminder of why I care so deeply about accessibility and localization. When people can hear stories in their own language, they land differently. They feel closer. More human. If Daybreaker has touched your life too, or if sober spaces have helped you reconnect with yourself, I’d love to hear your story.#l10n

#aiforgood #translation #deepdub Last night I ran a little experiment. I took a clip of Sen. Bernie Sanders talking about the future of Artificial Intelligence and the very real questions we should be asking… and then I dubbed it into Spanish using our live AI dubbing workflow at SyncWords. There’s something interesting about hearing an important message instantly cross a language boundary. Not because it’s flashy. Not because it’s ā€œAI for AI’s sake.ā€ But because it changes who gets to be part of the conversation. For millions of people, language is still the biggest barrier to understanding what’s being debated, decided, and warned about in real time. AI dubbing, when done responsibly, isn’t about replacing voices or removing nuance. It’s about extending accessibility beyond subtitles and reaching audiences who prefer to listen, not read. If we’re serious about inclusion, global discourse, and public information, then multilingual audio isn’t a nice-to-have. It’s a continuation of the accessibility work many of us have been building for years. Curious to hear how others are thinking about AI as a bridge rather than a shortcut.
