Today feels a little surreal. I officially sold my business, and somehow the timing couldn’t have been more meaningful. Closing this chapter on my 35th birthday feels like the universe giving me a quiet nod that it’s time for something new.
This journey has been one of the hardest, most rewarding, and most defining experiences of my life. There were moments of doubt, long nights, big risks, and even bigger lessons, but I was never in it alone.
To everyone who stood by me, supported me, encouraged me, and believed in what I was building… thank you. Truly. Your support meant more than I can ever fully put into words.
To the incredible breweries, artists, musicians, and patrons who brought life into this space, you made it what it was. You created the energy, the memories, and the community that I will carry with me forever.
A special thank you to my staff for sticking by me through it all. I would not be here without you.
I’m really happy to share that the new owners will be keeping the name, 1867, and honoring all of our upcoming shows. That means the spirit of what we built continues on, and I couldn’t ask for a better outcome.
As for me, you can find me in my next chapter over at Copper Dollar Ranch in Plattsmouth. I’m excited for what’s ahead and to keep creating spaces for people to gather, celebrate, and connect.
I’m so proud of what was built, and even more grateful for the people who were part of it.
Here’s to new beginnings, fresh starts, and whatever comes next.
