THE CHAAAMPIOOONS!!!
The 2nd Annual @uefa_unofficial Glasgow Tour—nament’s this Saturday, May 9th! Meeting on the Cavendish Street Pitch at 11:30a.m. with the Tour starting at 12p.m.!!!
The aim of the Tour—nament is to play on as many free public football pitches in one day as possible! It’s free to play and the Teams are officially drawn at random on the day from the pool of players in attendance with all levels of Footballing experience welcome and encouraged!
The Inaugural Glasgow Tour—nament Final last year saw the Govanhill Park team and the Cavendish Street team line up against eachother in Govanhill Park after a day of looping around the southside pitches with the Away side edging it 2-1 with a composed finish with the last kick of the game!

Tomorrow’s the 6th community game as part of the campaign to permanently and officially rename Herzog Park. This weekend marks 2 years since the first game in the park and the campaign won’t be stopping anytime soon!

Kick-off from 12—5p.m. so get down as early as you can and you can come and go as you please!
2nd ANNUAL GLASGOW TOUR—NAMENT ⚽️ Starting on the Cavendish Street Pitch at 11:30a.m. on Saturday, May 9th!
Back on October 25th 2025 as part of a collaboration Weekender with @rupturecinema and @solidarityscreeningsglasgow we hosted our first Tour—nament in Glasgow having done so Six times previously in Dublin. Starting and Finishing in Govanhill Park we did a loop of Glasgows Southsides public pitches - Govanhill Park, Queens Park, Maxwell Square, Kenmure Street and the eventual winners Cavendish Street!
Organised by @secretgroundsman with help from @1815fc the upcoming Tour—nament will be the same but there’ll be a new route and organising help from the newly founded @trasnaroversafc — It’s Free to join so spread the word and let is know if you’re interested in playing!
We’re not going to Mexico but maybe the World Cup actually is the friends we made along the way, making Ronaldo cry, dragging that handsome Liverpool player down with us, not being able to afford Giannis Tickets anyway, finally feeling something for the Team other than apathy and having something to build on or something…We’ll always have beating Portugal, that night in Budapest and if Tonight’s Seami’s last game whatever success comes from the EURO 2028 campaign will be his Legacy and owed to the impact he’s had on the current squad.

Shame UEFA, FIFA and the Government have put us in the Position that if we Boycott the upcoming Nations League fixtures with Israel we could risk our spot at EURO 2028. We absolutely should not be in this position and absolutely should not play the apartheid terror state whatever the cost. With the World Cup money gone the FAI will be even more desperate to get these games played as to not risk both cash cows of qualifying for the EURO’s and the hosting of the Tournament in 2028. It’s good we’ve been drawn against them because 15 Countries have played them in the Men’s game since the Genocide began and it’s about time someone stood up to them and the oligarchs that control OUR game.
Our U75’s had a unanimous win in the Ennistymon Community Centre Sports Hall — the Home of Elite Low Level Football in what was probably the biggest match in Irish Football last week!
Trá Pháidín ( @trawfawdeen ) live scored the Match between gigs in Ennistymon and on Inis Oírr. An incredible feat for an incredible band!
