so grateful to the editors at @osuthejournal , especially the inimitable @17cbeeman , for including my little religious trauma piece “Dear Speaker of the Poem” in the newest issue. this poem was crucial to my figuring out how to organize & navigate my forthcoming poetry collection Hurricane Pastoral (@sundresspublications Jan 2027). the collective “we” is a joy & a terror, as were all the poems 🖤🔪✨

Connor is an Ohio poet and the recipient of an Academy of American Poers award, the 2025 Helen Earnhardt Harley Creative Nonfiction fellowship and the 2022 Mark Ritzenhein Emerging Poet award.
