The EU’s approach, exemplified by agencies like Frontex, has led to systemic abuse and human rights violations, including illegal pushbacks, inadequate search and rescue operations. After reflecting on their own family’s history and memories of border crossings on their way back home, the artists reframed text from the published european border agreements of 2024 by asking the viewers, whether they fulfill the strict regulations themselves. Aliotta and Memeti both practice Re-Memory work (Toni Morrison). Actualizing migrant memory in the present as form of political self-organization. In this context, the artists challenge the historical narrative of „swiss neutrality“.

"Tomorrow is another morning GmbH" is calling for solidarity. Only a few people here know who is behind Gelavena, now it's time to take a closer look behind the scenes. Perhaps you know some of the founders; in any case, our ice cream is the first product and the first branch. Our co-founder team is currently being formed from scratch; with some very highly qualified people who also have a very strong attitude towards sustainability, the environment and a humanitarian focus per se. Due to the very difficult situation of our co-founder @diopnene994 we are calling for a solidarity dinner this Saturday in @neubadluzern She and her children Mamy and Meissa have been anchored in Switzerland for a good 6.5 years; Mamy was also born here. They have no memories of another country. Fatima has been a co-founder of the company since the beginning. She represents the beauty of intersectional relationships and how it creates new forms of solutions, exchange and just simply hope in this current struggling world. Unfortunately, her asylum application was rejected about 6 weeks ago and a hardship application is currently pending. Based on this context and the situation of the migration law, she is not allowed to work - even though she has a job and even tho she surely also needs money for a basic life. If the hardship case will be rejected, the government would deport the little family.
